Merry Christmas!

As Christmas draws to a close, it is with a sincere heart that I hope all of you readers have had a wonderful celebration with your family, friends, or even yourself. After all, who says you need another person to have a great time?

My Christmas wish came true in the form of a new lens for my camera. More specifically, the AF-S Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G.

The best part? As I learnt how to use it today, I captured moments with my friends & family in church and at dinner where we collectively remembered the reason for the season (Jesus Christ) and felt the joy of giving & receiving.

Here are my Christmas-sy photographs!

  7. This is completely unrelated to the post but I was just wondering is nuffnang safe to use? I'm having a hard time convincing my parents to let me sign up for it. They keep going on and on about how sites like these 'can't be trusted'. And if you could help me lay down more advantages of nuffnang it would be really helpful too! But if you don't have the time it's fine! :)

Haha okay, I've been using Nuffnang for a while now and my experience so far has been good. :) Payment's a little slow but it always always comes and you don't have to attend events if parents are worried about your safety! :) hope this helps!

  10. Haha new lens! The bokeh is very nice. And believe me you'll never use the kit lens ever again lol. Mine is rotting in a corner. :p

Hahah, I heard that if I use this lens then I'll be able to understand shutter speed and aperture loads better.. which will then better equip me for maximizing my kit lens. Haha, we shall see! :P
